1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all coaching and counselling services provided by Dipl.-Psych. Marijana Batan. By completing payment, the client accepts these Terms and Conditions as binding.
2. Description of Services
Dipl.-Psych. Marijana Batan offers individual psychological coaching and counselling. These services are provided on a commercial basis. Sessions do not constitute a substitute for medical or psychotherapeutic treatment in the clinical sense. Where psychological conditions require clinical treatment, clients are expressly referred to relevant medical specialists and psychotherapists.
The standard offer comprises one session of 3 hours, or two sessions of 90 minutes each within one week. The thematic focus of this offer is the female psyche within the female cycle.
Beyond this, the type, scope, and duration of services may be individually agreed. The agreed service will be specified in the invoice.
The service is not a standardised course or teaching programme, but an individualised psychological coaching and counselling format tailored to the personal situation of the client.
3. Booking Requirements
By completing payment, the client confirms that the following conditions are met:
For the standard offer for women:
No use of hormonal contraception and no suppression of the natural cycle through hormonal preparations.
The questionnaire has been completed fully and truthfully.
Relevant substance dependencies, chronic conditions, significant existing diagnoses, and permanently taken medications have been disclosed in the questionnaire.
The Terms and Conditions have been read and accepted.
The client attends the session in a focused, receptive state and free from intoxicants.
4. Booking and Payment
The client submits a booking request by email.
The appointment is arranged by telephone or email.
The client receives a questionnaire and these Terms and Conditions as a PDF.
Upon return of the completed questionnaire, the client receives the invoice.
By completing payment, the client confirms that they have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions.
The appointment is only confirmed once payment has been received.
No session takes place without prior receipt of payment.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling by the Client
For online appointments: A one-time rescheduling is possible, provided written notice is given by email or telephone at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. The cancellation and request to reschedule is only valid once the client has received written confirmation of receipt — by email or text message. In the event of later cancellation or non-attendance, the fee is forfeited without replacement.
Cancellation with refund of the fee is excluded. A one-time rescheduling is possible under the conditions stated above.
The client is solely responsible for all necessary technical requirements (functioning hardware, sufficient stability and bandwidth of the internet connection for conducting an online video call, etc.).
In the event of technical disruptions beyond the control of either party — in particular internet connectivity issues due to force majeure — a replacement appointment will be arranged by mutual agreement. This applies equally to both parties.
For in-person appointments: Rescheduling is only possible if written notice is given by email at least 14 days before the scheduled appointment. A cancellation must have been confirmed in writing by Dipl.-Psych. Marijana Batan in order to be valid. In the event of later cancellation or non-attendance, both the appointment and the fee are forfeited without replacement.
No refund of the fee will be made under any circumstances.
6. Cancellation by Dipl.-Psych. Marijana BatanShould Dipl.-Psych. Marijana Batan need to reschedule an online appointment, the client will be offered a replacement appointment.
Should an appointment need to be cancelled without replacement by Dipl.-Psych. Marijana Batan, a full refund of the fee paid will be issued within 7 days.
Travel and accommodation bookings for in-person appointments are made entirely at the client's own risk. Dipl.-Psych. Marijana Batan accepts no liability for travel, accommodation, or other ancillary costs — regardless of the timing of any cancellation. Cancellation by Dipl.-Psych. Marijana Batan gives rise exclusively to the right to a refund of the fee paid.
7. Fees
For online appointments: The fee stated on the invoice must be credited to the account of Dipl.-Psych. Marijana Batan within 5 business days of the invoice date, and no later than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. If payment is not received within this period, the appointment reservation is automatically cancelled and the slot will be reassigned without further notice.
For in-person appointments: The fee stated on the invoice must be credited to the account of Dipl.-Psych. Marijana Batan within 5 business days of the invoice date. If payment is not received within this period, the appointment reservation is automatically cancelled and the slot will be reassigned without further notice.
Payment is made in euros by bank transfer to the account specified on the invoice.
Clients outside the euro area may pay via Wise or PayPal.
Bank charges and transfer costs are borne by the client.
An additional fee of €50 applies to in-person appointments.
8. Confidentiality
All content discussed during the session is treated as strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties, unless a legal obligation to do so exists. Should a recording of the session be agreed upon (audio/video), the publication or sharing of that recording by the client with third parties is strictly prohibited.
9. Liability
Dipl.-Psych. Marijana Batan accepts no liability for consequences arising from incomplete or incorrect information provided in the questionnaire. The client is solely responsible for the accuracy of their own disclosures.
The services offered do not substitute medical or psychotherapeutic treatment. Liability for absent results is excluded. Dipl.-Psych. Marijana Batan expressly accepts no liability for the consequences of actions or measures initiated by the client in their life following the coaching.
Every decision made by the client after the session — along with its direct and indirect consequences — lies solely within the client's own responsibility. Liability on the part of Dipl.-Psych. Marijana Batan for any resulting consequences is excluded without exception.
The coaching does not replace therapy or self-responsible conduct of one's own life.
10. Applicable Law
Czech law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Prague, Czech Republic.
11. Governing Version of the Terms and Conditions
Should discrepancies exist between different versions of these Terms and Conditions — in particular between the version published on the website and the version transmitted by email — the version most recently sent to the client by email shall be exclusively authoritative and legally binding.
